After the machine has been restarted, the ini-
tial screen appears in the touch panel dis-
play.
NOTE
• The factory setting for the initial screen is the
Copy Basic Features screen. You can change the
settings so that the initial screen is a different
screen (the Send Basic Features screen, the
Mail Box Basic Features screen, or the System
Monitor screen). (See "Setting the Initial Screen,"
in the Reference Guide.)
• In the Copy Basic Features screen the copy set-
tings are set to the standard mode. The standard
mode settings include the following:
- Copy Ratio = Actual size
- Paper Selection = Auto Paper Selection
- Copy Quantity = 1
- Exposure adjustment = Auto Exposure Adjust-
ment
- Document type = Text
If the message "Enter the Dept. ID and
Password using the numeric keys"
appears, enter the department ID and
password.
