Step
1 Is there continuity between the
following connectors on the side
deck driver PCB?

2 Replace the side deck driver PCB.
Is the problem corrected?
3 Replace the deck main motor
(M101) of the side paper deck. Is
the problem corrected?
Step
1 Does the horizontal registration
sensor flag move freely?
2 Move the horizontal registration
sensor. Does the reading of
COPIER>I/O>DC-CON>P004-bit
11 change from '1' to '0'? (if I/O=0
while detecting the trailing edge of
paper)
3 Check the wiring between the
horizontal motor and the DC
controller PCB. Is the problem
corrected?
4 Is there continuity in the FU200 on
the DC controller PCB?
5 Is the horizontal registration motor
operating while pick-up is from the
lower feeding assembly?

the machine's IP PCB to
the motor; if normal,
replace the IP PCB.

matter. Check the

normal, check the sensor
output on the DC
controller PCB. If the
signal line output is
absent when the flag is
moved, replace the
sensor. If the signal line
output is present, replace
the DC controller PCB.
YES End.
NO Replace the DC
controller PCB.
YES Replace the horizontal
registration motor.
NO Replace the DC
controller PCB.
