Jumpers and switches

J1 Determines whether analog input AI1 is used as a current or
voltage input.
(AI1)
J2 Determines whether analog input AI2 is used as a current or
voltage input.
(AI2)
J3 Drive-to-drive link termination. Must be set to terminated
position when the drive is the last unit on the link.
J6 Common digital input ground selection switch. Determines
whether DICOM is separated from DIOGND (ie, common
reference for digital inputs floats). See the
diagram on page 127.

External power supply for the control unit


External +24 V (2 A) power supply for the control unit can be connected to terminal block
XPOW. Using an external supply is recommended if
•
the control unit needs to be kept operational during input power breaks, for example,
due to uninterrupted fieldbus communication
•
immediate restart is needed after power breaks (that is, no control unit power up delay
is allowed).
