Configure Shared Folder QoS
To change shared folder QoS settings:
1. Click on the Virtual Storage where you want to create the shared folder.
2. Click on the NAS menu tab.
3. Click to select the Shared Folder from the list to configure.
4. Click the QoS Policies button.
5. Check Enable QoS. A new menu appears.
6. In the new menu, click on Add File. The Add File Search menu appears.
7. In the Add File menu, locate folders or files to which the QoS policies are to be applied. Check the files
or folders in the list to select them. Click the Add button to select for QoS policy application.
8. The new menu includes an Edit function. Click on Edit to set limits on bandwidth or IO operations for the
selected folders.
9. In the new menu, set limitations of bandwidth, or IO operations. Click Done to finalize the QoS policy.
Assign Gateways to a Virtual Storage
To specify a gateway for a virtual storage, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Cluster main menu.
2. Click on the Virtual Storages menu tab.
3. Click to check a virtual storage in the list.
4. Click the Add Gateway button.
5. In the Add Gateway menu, choose a gateway from the pull-down menu.
6. Click Done to assign the gateway to the virtual storage. The assignment change appears in the list.
Note that any gateways that are not being used are automatically assigned to Default virtual storage.
