Storage Pool Management
A storage pool is simply designated data storage capacity on the VSky A-Series storage management system.
The default pool consists of all Object Storage Devices (OSD) in a cluster. The administrator has the option to use
the default storage pool, or create new storage pools. Pools that are created by the administrator can be deleted,
but the default pool cannot be deleted. Every pool must associate with at least one OSD for use, but an OSD can
be selected for use by more than one pool. Likewise, each virtual storage setup must have at least one pool, but
a pool can be used by many virtual storage setups.
Use the Pool management menu to create a new pool or delete a previously created pool.
From the Home page, click on Configuration and select Pool Management.
