A PROMISE sales representative or technical support staff member will assist the customer with license
purchase and acquisition. However, if the customer wishes to perform the task, he or she can follow these steps:
1. Login to the PROMISE Support Center,

2. Use the VSky A-Series text-mode console to activate the license with the license key for that server.
Manual Activation
In the tex-mode management console for the server being activated, go to Cluster Management then
Enter New License Key. Then select Perpetual license type in the Choose License type dialog. Finally,
enter Object, NAS, and/or SAN license keys acquired from the CRM Web Portal.
