Chapter 3 Setup

If the Positions of Dots Shift...

When the condition for printing (media thickness/ink type/
etc.) has been changed, perform the following operation
to correct the ink drop position for bidirectional (Bi)
printing and obtain the proper printing result.

Setting the HEATER

Pre-heater /Print heater / Post-heater are equipped on the
platen.
Type of HEATER
Used for pre-heating of the media prior to

printing to prevent rapid temperature changing.
Print-heater
Improves the image quality in printing.
Post-heater
Dries ink after printing.
Here, in addition to the temperature setting of each
heater, the time from the print completion until the heater
to be OFF can be set up.
