In the P-Series emulation mode, if a vertical tab format is defined in either
the EVFU (channel 12) or DAVFU (channel 2) and the VFU is enabled, the
paper is moved to the next such position.
In the Serial Matrix emulation mode, if Vertical Tabs are loaded and enabled,
the paper moves to the next tab position.
If a vertical tab format is not defined, the paper is advanced to the next line at
the current line spacing. If a vertical tab format is defined but no vertical tab
positions are set between the current print position and the end of the form,
in P-Series the paper is advanced to the first defined tab position on the next
form; in Serial Matrix the paper is advanced to the top of the next form. The
VT code resets all single line print attributes. More information on Vertical
Tabs is provided in the Vertical Format Units chapter.
Refer to the Vertical Tab Set control code for a sample program of vertical tab
