Domain Name System settings

Domain Name System (DNS) is an information service for TCP/IP
networks that uses a hierarchical naming system to identify network
domains and the hosts associated with them. You can identify one
primary DNS server and one secondary server.

Set M10 as DHCP relay agent
Configures M10 as DHCP relay agent which relays the
DHCP requests to an external DHCP server
set dhcp option relay-agent server-address [ip_ad-
dress]
server-address argument specifies the IP address
of the external DHCP server.
m10> set dhcp option relay-agent server-
address 192.3.2.1
Set domain name
Specifies the default domain name for your network.
When an application needs to resolve a host name, it
appends the default domain name to the host name
and asks the DNS server if it has an address for the
"fully qualified host name".
set dns domain-name [domain_name]
domain_name is the default domain name for your sys-
tem.
m10> set dns domain-name nokia.com
Set IP address of primary name server
Specifies the IP address of the primary DNS name
server.
set dns primary-address [ip_address]
ip_address is the IP address of your primary name
server.
m10> set dns primary-address 10.98.16.250
