CHECK
Check:
• Thermostatic valve (1 - F. 148).
If the valve does not open at 80.5-
93.5°C, it needs to be replaced.
Check operation:
• Dip the thermostatic valve in a
container.
• Place a precision thermometer in
water.
• Watch the thermometer while
mixing the water continuously.
Note: the thermostatic valve is sealed
and its adjustment requires special
competence. If you have any doubts
about its precision, replace it. A
defective device can overheat or
excessively cool down the engine
causing serious consequences.
Check:
• Thermostat cover
• Cracks/damages: replace
FITTING
Fit:
• Thermostatic valve
(1 - F. 149)
• Thermostat cover.
INSPECTION
Examiner :
• la soupape thermostatique (1 - F. 148).
Si la soupape ne s'ouvre pas à 80,5
- 93,5°C. : changer.
Procédure d'inspection :
• plonger la soupape thermostatique
dans un récipient.
• mettre un thermomètre de précision
dans l'eau.
• observer le thermomètre en
mélangeant continuellement l'eau.
Note : la soupape thermostatique est
scellée et son réglage est une
opération qui exige des compétences
particulières. Si l'on doute de sa
précision, il faut la changer. Un
dispositif défectueux peut aire
surchauffer ou
excessivement le moteur, ce qui
entraînerait de graves conséquences.
Examiner :
• le couvercle du thermostat.
Fissures/dégâts : changer.
POSITIONNEMENT
Positionner :
• la soupape thermostatique
(1 - F. 149).
• le couvercle du thermostat.

INSPECCION
Inspeccionar:
• Válvula termostática (1 - F. 148).
Si la válvula no se abre a 80,5 -
93,5°C: sustituir.
Procedimiento de inspección:
• Sumergir la válvula termostática en
un contenedor.
• Colocar un termómetro de precisión
en el agua.
• Observar el termómetro mezclando
constantemente el agua.
Nota: la válvula termostática está
sellada y para su ajuste es necesario
poseer competencias particulares.
En caso de dudas acerca de su
precisión, sustituir la válvula. Un
dispositivo defectuoso puede
refroidir sobrecalentar
excesivamente el motor y causar
graves inconvenientes.
Inspeccionar:
• Tapa termostato.
En caso de grietas/deterioro: sustituir.
MONTAJE
Montar:
• Válvula termostática
(1 - F. 149).
• Tapa termostato.
o enfriar
