Adjusting Brake Pedal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or death:
• Stop the engine and chock the wheels before checking
brake pedal.
• Be sure that the difference is 5 mm (0.2 in.) or less, when
the right and left brake pedals are depressed. If the
difference is large, the brake pull to one side when braking,
and cause an accident.
1. Slightly depress the right and left brake pedals and measure
free travel at the top of pedal stroke.
2. If adjustment is needed, turn the lock nut and adjust nut, adjust
free travel.
3. Retighten the lock nut.
4. Check to see that the difference is 5mm or less, when the right
and left brake pedals are depressed.

(1) Brake Pedal

(3) Adjust Nut (Both Sides)

ROPS: 30 to 40 mm (1.2 to 1.5 in.) on
the pedal
CAB: 20 to 30 mm (0.79 to 1.1 in.) on
the pedal
Keep the free travel in the right and left
brake pedals equal.
