Power Steering Cylinder
CAUTION
• Since power steering cylinder is full of high-pressured
steering oil, high-pressured oil is injected out from hose
adopters by pushing piston rods.
• This injected oil can penetrate the skin or eyes causing
serious injury.
• Use appropriate protective wear to prevent serious injury.
• Use waste to cover the adopters.
• Before disassembling drain steering oil from power
steering cylinder.
1. Remove the tie-rod end (4) from the rod (1) using spanners (2),
(3).
2. Remove the adaptors (8), (9).
3. Remove the rod cover (7).
4. Tap out the rod (1) to the right front wheel side.
(When reassembling)
• Apply the liquid lock (Three Bond 1375N or equivalent) to the
tie-rod ends (4), (5).
