VII.CYLINDER HEAD & CAM SHAFT REMOVAL
VALVE/ VALVE GUIDE INSPECT
Inspect each valve for bending, burning, scratches or
abnormal stem wear.
Check valve movement in the guide.
Measure each valve stem O.D.
MEASURES :
IN : 4.965 m/m replace if below
EX : 4.945 m/m replace if below
CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY
Lubricate each valve stem and valve stem seal with the
engine oil.
Insert the valve stem seal and valve stems into the valve
guides.
Be careful not to damage the valves.
INSTALL CYLINDER HEAD
Install the cam chain guide.
Install the dowel pins and a new cylinder head gasket.
Install:
1. CAM CHAIN GUIDE. [A]
2. Dowel pins. [B]
3. Cylinder head gasket [C]
Install the cylinder head and take out the cam chain.
Attention:
1. Cam chain [A]
