Windows shared printer

You can share a printer that is connected directly to a computer
with others on a network. You need to set up the printer as a
shared printer on the computer to which the printer is connected.
See either "Windows 98/95" on page 11-5 or "Windows 2000/NT
4.0" on page 11-7 as appropriate for your operating system.

Note:
❏ To monitor a shared printer from a client through the server, select
Allow monitoring of shared printer in the Monitoring
Preference dialog box of the server.
❏ The environment must support normal printing from the shared
printer.
❏ The port used for monitoring will differ from system to system.
