Check eccenter collar and plunger of fuel pump for wear.
F Inspect dog gear and dog hub for pittings on gear toothing and sliding ramps,
and check extent of wear. Ensure that ramp tops of dog gear are clearing valley
of dog hub by I mm (0,04 in.) nominal.
Slight fretting corrosion and pittings on dogs are permissible.
F Check thickness of I mm bronze thrust washer benveen dog gear and retaining
ring.'
@ Propshaft must not show fretting corrosion on bearing seats. Seat of bearing
6207 E (35-72-17) on shaft must be a press fit.
I ATTENTION: At presence of fretting corrosion, inspect shaft for cracks (by
Magnaflux).
xF Renew disk springs at evident wear, but at least after every 1000 hours of
running time.

Remove collar nut (102x1,5 R.H. thread), using pin-face wrench 877 390. Remove
disk springs 100x76x2,7, thrust ring and pack of clutch disks, consisting of 9 plain
steel disks and 8 sinter metal coated disks, and dog hub. Withdraw beneath placed
thrust washer 45,2x60x1and clutch hub. Clean all components and check for wear.
Check and clean oil-ducts for free passage in €hq1oh- and dog hub by compressed air.
Check steel and sinter disks for wear. Dimension over pack of 9 steel- and 8 sinter
disks must not be less than 21 mm (0,827).
