Split crankcase ass'y into halves. Carry out generalvisual inspection and specific check
of all oil passages by compressed air;thread inserts and sealing faces.
Aftenarards
place main bearing halves in position and join crankcase, thighten screws and
take readings of crankshaft and camshaft bearings.
