Place fjurnp gear, larger collar

towards inside, into ignition cover

and push water pump shaft O

with already fitted rotary seal

into ignition cover. Align gear

with shaft.

Now place the ignition cover un-

der hand press (20 kl.l/1400 lb.

capacity) on aplane face andpress

pump shaft into position until stop,

using punch @ 877 250.

O NOTE: To warrant the cor-

rect gap O between

impeller O and

pump cover @, en-

sure alignment of

shaft shoulder 0 with

sealing face O of igni

cover.

If need be, place turned over cover ass'y on hardened and ground face plate with an 8 mm (0,3 in.) dia-

clearancehole,andpressshaftbackwardsaccordingly,

using a 10mm(0,4in.) Opin. Trial spinpump shafr
