Remove O-rings 16x5 from crankcase.

I ATTENTION: No washer under collar nuts. Lay aside numbered cylinder heads in o *uy#
not to damage scaling surface and oil rcnrrn tubes.
Liftoutoil-filledpushrods. Stopoilfuomdrippingbysealingwithfinger. Co-ordinatepushrods
with cylinder to prevent any mix-up.

5.10) Cylinders and pistons:

5.11) Hydraulic valve tappets:
Remove hydraulic appet O using a pointed
tool9. Don't engage at circlip 0.
f AT?ENTION: Lay aside tappers in a
manner to ensure refit-
tin g in their initial place.
Now turn engine on trestle and proceed
with disassembly of cylinder 2and4.
Prior to removal, mark cylinders and pistons to ensure
correct co-ordination at re-assembly. Cylinders are iden-
tical, pistons with offset centres of pin to piston.
Disengage srankshaft locking screw. With piston no. I in T.D.C.,
withdraw cylinder no. I carefully, avoiding any damage to piston and
rings. After moving circlips O to 9 oblock or 3 oblock position,
remove piston pin circlips by suitable ground screwdriver g.
Push out piston pin using guiding punch or tool 877 090. Coordi-
nate piston pin to piston. Same procedurc on piston and cylinder
