3 SERVICE MODE

3.1.OUTLINE OF SERVICE MODE
3.1.1 Service Mode and Test Mode
The service mode is provided in this machine for the purpose of the following operations. And also, the Service
Mode includes the Test mode as a menu.
• Initial settings at the time of installation and rewriting ROM.
• In order to deal with customers' claims after installation, setting status and operations of devices are
checked and operational conditions are changed for analyzing troubles.
This manual provides "4 TEST MODE" to explain the test mode for your easy understanding.
3.1.2 Service Mode Menu Tree
In the menus of the service mode, following 4 menus are related with the fax. And each of these menus includes
sub menus.

When the Line 2 is specified, only the Modem/NCU,
Communication, Network and Initialization items are
displayed.
