Stick labels "3" and "4" above the
handles on the front of the 1000-
sheet paper feed unit.
Note
❒ After finishing the installation,
you can check the 1000-sheet
paper feed unit is installed
properly: Print the configura-
tion page from the "List/Test
Print" menu. If it is installed
properly, you will see "Paper
Feed Unit (Tray 3 & Tray 4)" ap-
pear under the "Options" list.
❒ If the paper feed unit is not in-
stalled properly, repeat the pro-
cedure from step

• When moving the paper feed
unit, hold the bottom of both
sides, and then lift slowly. Lifting
carelessly or dropping it may
cause injury.

❒ The 2000-sheet Large Capacity
Tray weighs approximately 25 kg
(55.2 lbs).

Turn off the power, and then un-
plug the power cable.

Remove the adhesive tape.

Adjust the four corners of the
printer to those of the 2000-sheet
Large Capacity Tray, and then
slowly lower the printer into
place.
