5. Insert the gear into the shaft by aligning the key.
Press in the ball bearing on the nut side.
6. Press in the impeller to the depth where impel-
ler's boss end face is flush with the shaft end.
7. Mount the cover on the impeller side, and secure
it in place with the snap ring.
8. After installing the water pump assembly, install
the alternator pulley and tighten the nut to the
specified torque.
