PPPoE Commands

pppoe ifconfig

Configure a PPPoE interface.
The interface to be configured may not be connected at the time of configuration.
Note
Use the command pppoe ifdetach prior to using the command pppoe ifconfig.

The name of the PPPoE interface to be configured.
The destination for this PPPoE interface.
Typically, a phonebook entry.
The user name for remote PAP/CHAP authentication.
The password for remote PAP/CHAP authentication.
The Access Concentrator name for a PPPoE connection.
Use the command pppoe ifscan to see the names of available access
concentrators, if any.
