Connecting to the IPSIs
For a guide when connecting the CAT5 cables to the media server, refer to
S8500 Media Server connectivity
IP Connect: Connect one end of the GREEN CAT5 straight-through cable to the IPSI adapter
on the back of media gateway in position A. The other end is connected to the next available
port on the customer's network. If not already connected, connect it.
Direct connect: Connect a crossconnect CAT5 or better cable from the IPSI adapter to the left
port (Eth2) on the dual NIC.
