Configuring for Internet Access
Menu 4 of the SMT allows you to configure Internet access on one
screen. Before you configure your IRT-1001 or IRT-1002 for Internet
access, you need to collect the following information from your ISP
(Internet Service Provider).
♦ IP address of the ISP's gateway (optional).
♦ Telephone number(s) of your ISP.
♦ Login name.
♦ Password for ISP authentication
For your Workstation:
♦ Domain Name Server (DNS)

Conventionally, the Internet (with a capital I) refers the large-scale
interconnected networks across the world that was originally developed
by the US Department of Defense. The Internet uses exclusively the
