Two example figures are shown below. the first of an ICMP Ping packet
(Type: IP) triggering the call and the second with a SAP packet (Type:
IPX) triggering the call. With this information, you can determine the
source IP address of the packet or the source MAC address of the
packet.

Terminal Baud Rate

Users can set different baud rates for the RS-232 connection through
menu 24.2 Terminal Baud rate. The router supports 9600 (default),
19200, and 38400 bps for the RS-232 connection.

LAN Packet Which Triggered Last Call—shows the first 48
octets of the LAN packet that triggered the last outgoing call.
There are three different types of packets: IP, IPX, and RAW. By
viewing the packet information, you can determine which station
has sent a packet to cause the router to make an outgoing call.
