Spark plug inspection
Check the sparking condition.
If the sparking condition is not proper or the
spark plug electrode is contaminated, replace
it with new one.
Caution
Be extremely careful to carry out the
sparking condition inspection.
Ignition coil removal
Remove the front seat and fuel tank.
Remove the spark plug cap.
Disconnect the ignition coil primary winding
wire (black / yellow and green).
Remove the ignition coil (2 locknuts).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Use a multi meter with input resistor over
10MΩ 10CV.
Connect the terminals of primary winding,
positive cable to Black / Yellow, negative cable
to earth.
Minimum voltage：95~400V
Caution
Do not touch the probe metal during
inspection, or electric shock may happen.
