Bearing
Turn the inner ring of each bearing to check if
it rotates smoothly and quietly.
Meanwhile, check if the outer ring fits the
wheel hub closely.
If the bearing doesn't rotate smoothly or
quietly, replace it with new one.
Caution
The old bearing cannot be reused but be
replaced with new one by pairs.
Rim
Place the rim in a rotating stand.
Spin the rim by hand and measure the run out
by using a dial indicator.
Service limit： Radial 2.0mm
Axial
Disassembly
Pull out the left bearing by using inner bearing
puller.
Remove the front axle distance collar.
Pull out the right bearing and oil seal by using
inner bearing puller.
Special tool：
Inner bearing puller SYM-6204020
Reassembly
Apply grease to the wheel hub / bearing
contact surface.
Install the left bearing.
Install the distance collar and then the right
bearing.
Caution
The bearing cannot lean to one side during
installation.
