Logging On to the Copier's Administrator Mode

When logged on
0 When logged on to Administrator mode, the copier's control panel is
locked and cannot be used.
0 Depending on the status of the copier, you may not be able to log on to
Administrator mode.
0 If the unauthorized access lock is enabled from the copier's control pan-
el, incorrectly entering the administrator access code is considered a
failed access attempt. After three failed attempts, you will no longer be
able to log on to Administrator mode. To enable access, the copier must
be restarted (turned off, then on again).

In the Login page, select "Administrator".
– If necessary, select the display language from the drop-down list.

Type in the administrator password, and then click [OK].
The copier's Administrator mode page appears.
Note
When logged on to Administrator mode, if no operation is performed for
the set length of time, a timeout occurs and you will automatically be
logged off from Administrator mode. The timeout period can be specified
with "Admin Logout Time".
"Admin Mode Logout Time" can be set by clicking "Authentication", then
"Auto Logout" in the menu on the Network tab of Administrator mode.
The display language for the various tabs in PageScope Web Connection
may be different depending on the specified display language and the
language specified for the operating system.
Reminder
When the copier is turned off, then on again, turn off the auxiliary power
button before turning off the main power switch. In addition, wait at least
10 seconds to turn the machine on after turning it off; otherwise, the ma-
chine may not function normally.
