19. Remove the reed valves from the crankcase.
20. Using an awl and piston pin puller, remove the
pistons.
CAUTION:
Wear eye protection during piston c-clip removal
to prevent eye injury.

21. Turn crankcase over and remove the
crankcase bolts. Turn over and separate the
case halves.
22. Refer to General Inspection section for
crankshaft inspection and measurement
procedures.
