13. Reassemble water pump carefully installing seal.
14. Install crankcase seal to ignition/water pump
housing from inside toward outside until bottomed
on housing. Spring and seal lip must face inward
toward crankshaft.
15. Apply 3 Bondä sealant to pump housing crankcase
mating surface and carefully install onto crankcase.
Tighten water pump to engine hose clamp and
torque bolts to specification.
Ignition/Water Pump Housing Torque
22 Ft. lbs (30.4 Nm)
16. Align timing marks and install stator.
