User Guidelines
Use no qos trust to disable the trust mode on each port.
Use qos trust to enable trust mode on each port.
Example
The following example configures port g5 in basic mode to default trust state (CoS).
Console (config)# interface ethernet e5
Console (config-if) qos trust

3.17.10 qos cos

The qos cos interface configuration command configures the default port CoS value. To return to the default setting, use
the no form of this command.
Syntax
qos cos default-cos
no qos cos

qos cos override

default-cos — Specifies the default CoS value being assigned to the port. If the port is trusted and the packet is
untagged then the default CoS value becomes the CoS value. (Range: 0 - 7)
Default Configuration
Port CoS is 0.

User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example configures port g5 default CoS value to 3.
Console (config)# interface ethernet g5
Console (config-if) qos cos 3
3.17.11 qos cos override
The qos cos override interface configuration command overrides the CoS of incoming packets. To disable the override,
use the no form of this command.
Syntax
qos cos override
no qos cos override
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Default Configuration
CoS Override is disabled
Command Mode
Interface configuration (Ethernet, Port-Channel).
User Guidelines
This command enables to override the CoS value of tagged packets, with the value configured by the qos cos command.
Example
The following example overrides the CoS of incoming packets.
