    4.1 Manual Network Setup - TCP/IP Configuration The default IP address of the WNRT-617 is 192.168.1.1. And the default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. These values can be changed as you desire. In this guide, we use all the default values for description.

Select Auto-Detect, the Router will automatically detect the connection type your ISP provides. Make sure the cable is plugged into the WAN port before detection. The appropriate configuration page will be displayed when an active Internet service is successfully detected by the Router.

Virtual servers can be used for setting up public services on your LAN, such as DNS, Email and FTP. A virtual server is defined as a service port, and all requests from the Internet to this service port will be redirected to the computer specified by the server IP.
