RMON History Table

The RMON History Table contains interface specific statistical network samplings. Each table entry represents all counter
values compiled during a single sample.
To open RMON History Control screen perform the folling:
1.
Click Statics/RMON -> RMON -> History Table
2.
The RMON History Table screen is displayed as in Figure 3-81
The page includes the following fields:
• Sample No. -- The specific sample the information in the table reflects.
• Drop Events -- The number of dropped packets due to lack of network resources during the sampling interval.
This may not represent the exact number of dropped packets, but rather the number of times dropped packets
were detected.
• Received Bytes (Octets) -- The number of data octets, including bad packets, received on the network.
• Received Packets -- The number of packets received during the sampling interval.
• Broadcast Packets -- The number of good broadcast packets received during the sampling interval.
• Multicast Packets -- The number of good Multicast packets received during the sampling interval.
• CRC Align Errors -- The number of packets received during the sampling session with a length of 64-1518
octets, a bad Frame Check Sequence (FCS), and with an integral number of octets, or a bad FCS with a
non-integral number.
• Undersize Packets -- The number of packets received less than 64 octets long during the sampling session.
• Oversize Packets -- The number of packets received more than 1518 octets long during the sampling session.
• Fragments -- The number of packets received less than 64 octets long and had a FCS during the sampling
session.
• Jabbers -- The number of packets received more than 1518 octets long and had a FCS during the sampling
session.
• Collisions -- Estimates the total number of packet collisions that occurred during the sampling session.
Collisions are detected when repeater ports detects two or more stations transmit simultaneously.
