Web Console Function

With Web Console Function, remote operation and status check of management target server
are possible even when OS is not in operation (including when the power is off, booting BIOS
and OS stalling, etc.)
Web Console Function is divided into three types of Web Console. Status display and operation
item vary depending on each Web Console. Use those according to the intended purpose.
• System Web Console:
This console mainly performs the setting of System. Refer for details on connection procedure
and each function.
• Server Web Console:
This is the most used Web Console and various status confirmation and operation related to
the server.

• Resource Web Console:
This console performs various status confirmation and operation related to stand-alone BOX.
Refer to " Resource Web Console " for details on connection procedure and each function.
IMPORTANT:
 To connect to each Web Console, it is required to set the
system, server and network of resources from
EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor. Refer to "Network Setting" for
setting procedure.
 Use IE7.0 or later version for the browser for connecting each
Web Console.
 When remote console is not used for 30 minutes after
connecting to each Web Console, Web Console is automatically
disconnected (timeout occurs). It is required to logon to Web
Console again to continue using each Web Console function.
 Firmware update is possible from a System Web Console.
Firmware and BIOS update is possible from a Server Web
Console.
