Replacing Failed Power Supply Unit

Replace the power supply unit only when it failed.
1. Check the failed power supply unit with the Status LED of the power supply unit located on
the rear side.
The Status LED lighting in amber indicates that the power supply unit is failing.
2. Refer to "Preparation for Mounting/Unmounting" for preparation.
Online replacement can be performed when the power supply unit is configured by
redundant configuration.
Turning the power OFF is required if it is not the redundant configuration.
3. Open the repeat ties for preventing it from falling off and remove the power code.
4. (1) While unlocking the power supply unit, (2) hold the handle and pull out slowly backward
to unmount the unit.

IMPORTANT:
Do not unmount the power supply unit that is operating properly.
NOTE:
When the server is running under the power redundant configuration
and the minimum number of servers are running properly (Status LED of
the power supply unit is lighting), the power supply unit can be replaced
even when the system is operating (power-on status).
IMPORTANT:
Pull out the power supply unit horizontally. The power supply unit or
internal connector may be damaged if it is inclined or pressure is added
from side to side and up and down while pulling out.
