For A1080a-D Model
● When shutting down OS of both Serve 1 and Server 2
Go to [Main Menu] -> [All Servers Up/Down] -> [SVRs OS Shutdown] ->
[Execute].
● When shutting down OS of Server 1
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server1] -> [SVR1 Control] -> [SVR1 OS Shutdown] ->
[Execute].
● When shutting down OS of Server 2
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server2] -> [SVR2 Control] -> [SVR2 OS Shutdown] ->
[Execute].
(3) Perform the following procedure from Summary (sub menu) after connecting to Web
Console.
Click "Soft-Shutdown".
(4) Use SMASH-CLP
Refer to the chapter which describe SMASH-CLP in details.
IMPORTANT:
Shutdown may not be executed depending on state on the OS side.
In this case, shut down OS by performing operations from OS.
IMPORTANT:
Don't shut down OS until the OS boot is finished after starting
power on. If OS boot is finished, then the "Server Operating State"
on EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor/Server Menu/
View Information Screen will be "OS running/EFI Manager Booted".
IMPORTANT:
Shutdown may not be executed depending on state on the OS side.
In this case, shut down OS by performing operations from OS.
IMPORTANT:
●Don't update and reboot BIOS/Management Firmware until the
power off is finished after starting OS shutdown.
●When using A1080a-D, don't update and reboot BIOS/Managemnet
Firmware until the power off is finished after starting OS shutdown
even if the power off is being executed on the other server.
If the power off is finished, then the "Server Health" on Web
console/Monitoring/Summary will be "Stopped".
