There are 4 methods to turn the power OFF forcibly as shown below.
(1) Operate the navigation button of EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor and perform the
following procedure from Operation Menu.
For A1080a-S Model/A1080a-E Model/A1040a Model
● Execute the following to turn off the power of Server 1.
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server1] -> [SVR1 Control] -> [SVR1 For Maint] ->
[SVR1 Power Down] -> [Execute]
For A1080a-D Model
● Execute the following to turn off the power of Server 1.
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server1] -> [SVR1 Control] -> [SVR1 For Maint] ->
[SVR1 Power Down] -> [Execute]
● Execute the following to turn off the power of Server 2.
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server2] -> [SVR2 Control] -> [SVR2 For Maint] ->
[SVR2Power Down] -> [Execute]
(2) Perform the following procedure from Summary (sub menu) after connecting to Server
Web Console.
Click "Power OFF immediate" button.
IMPORTANT:
The shutdown process is not performed by this procedure.
Perform this procedure after confirming that OS is not running.
IMPORTANT:
For A1080a-D model, the power of all servers is turned OFF by
turning OFF the power of both Server 1 and Server 2.
The power such as common parts such as the power supply is not
turned OFF when either of servers is operating.
IMPORTANT:
The shutdown process and server stop process are not performed
by this procedure. Perform this procedure when the shutdown
process or server stop process cannot be performed due to the
failure of the server or when only the power of the server is turned
ON.
