When a document jams

The ERROR indicator will light and "DOCUMENT
JAM" will appear on the message display.
1. Remove all documents from the document table.
* DO NOT try to remove the document with
undue force as there is a danger that the
documents will tear.
2. Open the ADF cover.
3. With the ADF cover open, remove the jammed
document without tearing it.
* If the document cannot be removed from the
document insert side of the ADF, remove it
from the document eject side.
