Type of phone line

Set the type of phone line to correspond to the type of phone service in use. A mistake in the setting
will render dialling, and therefore fax transmission, impossible.
* Selection of the type of phone line is not available in those facsimiles purchased in Sweden. Tone
dialling is the permanent setting.
* To cancel the procedure part way through, press the
STOP/RESET key. The fax will revert to the initial mode.
1. Press the FUNCTION key 6 times.
2. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.
3. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key once again.
4. Use the keypad to select the type of phone line in use.
Push button (tone) dialling: Press "0".
Pulse dialling: Press "1".
* The number corresponding to the presently selected
setting will flash.
5. Press the ENTER FUNCTION key.
6. The type of phone line setting is complete. Press the
STOP/RESET key. The fax will revert to the initial mode.
