"DOCUMENT JAM" is displayed
A document has jammed in the facsimile. Follow the procedure
in "When a document jams", page 89, and remove the jammed
document.
"CHECK PAPER/OPEN COVER" is displayed
Paper has jammed in the paper table. Follow the procedure in
"1 Paper jam in the paper table", page 86, and remove the
jammed paper.
"CHECK PAPER" is displayed
There is no paper on the paper table. Follow the procedure in
"(1) Setting paper", page 18, and set paper on the paper table.
"CHANGE IU" is displayed
It is necessary to replace the imaging unit. A limited number of
pages can still be printed, but, after that, printing will be
impossible. Follow the procedure in "Replacing the imaging
unit", page 79, and replace the imaging unit as soon as possible.
"CLOSE MAIN BODY" is displayed
The facsimile is open. Close it securely.
"SYSTEM ERROR" is displayed
Maintenance requires serviceman intervention. Remove the
power plug from the outlet and contact your service
representative, an authorised service centre or the place of
purchase.
