In fotain men t system
CD m essages
The message 'C HEC K DISC ' a ppears on the
display if a problem occurs and the
CD player does not operate correctly .
If this message appears or if the CD is
ejected automatically, it could be for one of
the following rea sons:
The CD is d irty , scratched, wet, or
up side down.
The air is very humid.
If so, wait app rox . one hour and try
again.
There ma y have been a prob lem while
burning the CD.
The label may be caught in the
CD play er.
It is very hot.
When the temperature returns to
norma l, the C D should pla y.
You are driving on a v ery rough road.
When the road surfa ce b ecomes
smoother, the C D should play .
If the CD is not playing correctly, for any
other reason, try a known good C D.
If any error occ urs repeated ly or if an error
cannot be corrected , we recom mend that
you consult a n Opel Service Partner.
If the radio displays an error m essag e,
write it down and provide it to your retailer
when reporting the problem.
Usi ng the auxi liary input ja ck
Your Infotainment sy stem has an auxiliary
input jack b located on the lower right
side of the Entertainment Head Unit (EHU).
This is not an audio outp ut;
Do not p lug headphones into the
auxiliary input jack b.
You can howev er, connect an external
audio device such as a laptop computer 3,
MP3 p layer 3, CD cha nger 3, or c assette
player 3, to the aux iliary input jack b for
use as another audio source.
To use a portable audio player, connect a
3.5 m m phone p lug to the auxiliary inp ut
ja ck b.
When a devic e is connected, to begin
play ing audio from the dev ice throug h the
vehicle's spea kers, proceed as follows;
You are listening to a CD/MP3.
Press the CD/AUX a button.
Aud io from the external audio d evice
connected starts to play .
If a portable audio play er is not
connected, "No I nput Device Found"
appears on the display.
If the v olume of the connected
portable aud io player does not go as
loud or soft as you w ish using the
X
e k nob (see pa ge 81), you ma y
need to mak e ad ditional v olume
adjustments on the portable aud io
player itself.
To switch back to the C D/MP3 you were
play ing , press the C D/A UX a button
aga in.
To switch to radio mode while a portable
audio dev ic e is playing, press the BAN D h
button.
The p ortab le a udio dev ice continues to
play, so you may w ish to stop it or turn
it off.
