Use of ACEA A1/B1 and A5/B5 engine oil is
expressly forbidden, since they can cause
long-term engine da mage und er certain
opera ting conditions.
Eng ine oi l add itives
The use of engine oil additives could cause
dam age and invalidate the warranty.
Eng ine oi l viscosity
SAE 0W-30, 0W-40, 5W-30 or 5W-40
The SAE viscosity rating defines the ability
of an oil to flow. When cold, oil is more
viscous than when hot.
Multigrad e oil is indicated by two figures.
The first figure, followed b y a W, ind ic ates
low temp erature v iscosity and the second
figure the high tempera ture viscosity.
Coo lant and antifreeze
Use antifreez e of recommend ed
specification: silicate-free LLC (Long Life
Coolant).
The system is factory-filled with coola nt
designed for frost protection down to
approx. -28 °C . This concentration should
be m ainta ined all y ear-round.
Coolant additives intend ed to g ive
additiona l corrosion protection or seal
against m inor leaks can ca use function
prob lems. Liability for consequences
resulting from the use of coola nt a dditives
will be rejec ted.
Service, mainten ance

Brake and clutch fluid

O nly use DO T3 or DO T4 brake fluid.

Warnin g
Brake fluid is poisonous!
O ver tim e, brake fluid absorbs moisture
which will reduce b raking effectiveness.
The brake fluid should therefore be
replaced at the specified interv al.
Brake fluid should b e stored in a sealed
container to av oid water absorption.
Ensure it does not becom e contaminated
with fluids containing mineral oil (oil,
petrol, clea ner) as this can damage the
seals and sleeves of the brake system.

Warnin g
Due to its corrosive nature, it must not
come in contact with the paintwork . Flush
any escap ed b rake fluid w ith p lenty of
water.
