In fotain men t system
The highlighted setting can also be
adjusted using the SEEK w f,
SEEKq g, FWD c and REV d
buttons, as follow s:
Press the SEEK wf button or the
FWD c button until the desired lev el is
ob tained.

Press the SEEKq g button or the
REV d button until the d esired level is
ob tained.
The highlighted setting is adjusted.
To quic kly ad just balance or fade
to the midd le position, proceed as
follows:
Press and hold the appropriate
button 6 loca ted b elow the BAL or
FADE label for more than two seconds.
A beep sounds and the lev el is
adjusted to the m iddle position.
To quic kly adjust all speak er and tone
controls to the m id dle p osition,
proc eed as follows:
Press the
8 tune knob for more

A beep sounds and all sp eaker and
tone controls are adjusted to the
middle position.
Speed Com pensat ed Volum e (SC V)
To compensate for a mbient and rolling
noise, the Infotainment system volum e
adjusts to the speed of the vehicle.
Ac tiv ate/deac tiv ate the SC V function or
cha ng e the level of radio volume
compensation as follows:
S et the volum e to the desired lev el.
S ee "Volume" on page 81.
Press the MENU 4 button until the
radio set-up menu appears.
The 'AUTO VO LUM' option label
app ears on the display.
Press the ap prop ria te button 6
located below the 'AUTO VOLUM'
option label on the display.
The OFF, Low, Med and High la bels
app ear on the displa y.
Press the ap prop ria te button 6
located below the label that you wish
to select.
The new setting is applied.
The display times out after approx.
10 seconds.
Each higher setting allows for more
radio v olume comp ensa tion at higher
vehicle speeds.

C D is playing, p roceed as follows:
Press the BAND h button.

The C D rema ins in the CD slot, read y
for future listening.
Select w aveba nd
The radio is on.
Press the BAND h button.
The radio switches between the
AM and FM wa veba nds.
The current waveband and the station
to which the radio w as tuned most
recently are disp la yed .
The station recently selected play s.
Wa veba nd selection:

= Amplitude M od ulation
(MW),

FM
= Frequency Modula tion.
