In fotain men t system
CD/MP3 player
This d evice play s standard c om mercial
CDs with a diameter of 12 cm. Y ou can a lso
play CDs with a d ia meter of 8 cm with an
adap ter.

Contoured CDs (Shape C Ds) are not
suitable for playing.

Do not insert DVDs into the CD driv e.

Do not add labels to a disc, as it could
get stuck in the player. If a CD is
recorded on a personal computer (PC ),
only label the disc on the top side using
a marker pen.

Do not a ttempt to p lay scratched or
damaged C Ds. Only use CDs in good
condition, w ithout a lab el, loading
them one CD at a time.

No liability is acc epted for damag e to
the CD drive caused by the use of
unsuita ble C Ds or from attempting to
insert more than one CD into the slot at
a time.
Audio CDs are being manufactured
with mecha nisms to protec t them from
unauthorised reproduction. Howev er,
these measures do not comply with the
audio C D specification (Red Book )
acc ording to which a ll appliances for
play ing audio CDs have been and a re
being developed. Y our Infotainment
system can play back C Ds with the
typ es of copy p rotection known a t the
time the player is sold. However, this is
not a g uarantee that it w ill be able to
play b ack CDs with new v ariants of the
copy protection mechanisms in the
future.
You can also play CD-Rs and CD-RWs w ith
MP3 m usic files a nd uncomp ressed CD
audio files (with ".CDA" file ex tension) on
the Infotainm ent system.
While play ing a C D-R or CD-RW, the
sound quality may be reduced due to
disc quality, the m ethod of recording,
the quality of the m usic that has been
record ed, and the w ay the disc has
been handled. There may be an
increa se in sk ipping, difficulty in
finding tracks, and/or diffic ulty in
loading and ejecting. If these problems
occur, chec k the bottom surface of the
disc. I f the surface of the disc is
dam aged , e.g. crac ked, broken, or
scratched, the disc will not play
properly.

Insert the C D (lab el sid e up) p art of the
way into the CD slot i.
The device pulls the CD in
autom atically.
The mov ement of the C D must not be
hindered or aided .
The "C D" sy mbol app ears on the
disp lay.
As soon as the first tra ck starts to play ,
the track num ber ap pears on the
disp lay.
