Air conditioning system

As well a s the effect of the hea ting and
cooling system, the air conditioning sy stem
also cools a nd dries the inflowing air.
If no cooling or drying is required, switch
the c ooling system off to save fuel.
At low outside tempera tures, the cooling
unit switches off automatically .

Operate only with the engine running and
the fan on:
Press n
On =
Off = Press n ag ain
Control indica tor in b utton.
If the fan is off, the c ontrol indicator will
flash three times then go out. Air
conditioning is not available with the fan
off.
Climate control
Air re-c irculat ion system 4
The air re-circulation button 4 is
used to set the ventilation system to
re-circ ulation mode (control indica tor
illuminates in button).
If fumes or unpleasa nt od ours penetrate
the passenger compartment from outside,
temporarily switch on air re-circulation
system.
To increa se the cooling power at high
outside temperatures, temporarily switch
on air re-circulation system.
