MP3-CD pla yba ck
sel ec ting next/pr ev ious folder with
MP3-CDs
If y our MP3-CD contains several albums,
you can select the album y ou w ant as
follow s:
You are listening to a n MP3-C D.
The folder lab els with < and > nex t to
a folder icon ap pear on the disp lay.
Press the appropriate button 6
loca ted below the fold er label you wish
to select.
By selecting the < folder label, the
Infotainment sy stem goes b ack to the
first track in the prev ious folder.
By selecting the > folder label, the
Infotainment sy stem goes to the first
tra ck in the next folder.
When the first trac k in the p revious/
next folder starts to play , and the
relev ant track information (a lb um
na me, track name or artist name)
appea rs on the displa y.
All the folders which do not contain
MP3 files a re automatically sk ipped.

unc ompressed a ud io files w ith MP3-C Ds 3
The Infotainm ent system c an play discs
containing both uncompressed CD audio
files (w ith ". CDA" file extension) and
compressed a udio files (MP3 files).
By d efault, the system reads and play s only
the uncompressed a udio files and ignores
the MP3 files.
To switch between uncompressed a nd
compressed files, proceed as follow s;
Press the C AT 9 category button.
The Infotainment system will only read
and p lay the previously ignored files.

Use the music navigator feature to play
MP3 files on the disc in order by artist or b y
album, as follows;
You are listening to an MP3-C D.
Press the appropriate button 6
located below the music navigator
label B on the display.
The I nfotainment sy stem scans the disc
to sort the files by artist and album ID3
tag inform ation.
It can take several m inutes to scan the
disc depending on the num ber of MP3
files recorded on the d isc. The radio
may begin to p lay while the
Infotainment sy stem is scanning the
disc in the bac kground.
When the scan is finished, the disc
beg ins play ing again and the sy stem
defaults to playing M P3 files in order
by a rtist.
The current artist playing is shown on
the second line of the display between
the arrows.
Once all song s b y that artist are
played, the Infotainment sy stem
moves to the nex t artist in a lp ha betical
order on the disc and begins play ing
MP3 files by that artist.
