7. Switch compressor on/off sw itc h to
position I (on).
8. All of the sealant is pum ped into the ty re
and the ty re is infla ted.
Sea la nt may leak from the puncture hole
until the vehicle has been driven and the
hole sealed.
Do not run the compressor for more than
10 minutes, see " Important information"
on page 140.
9. Check the compressor pressure gauge.
If there is no reading, the sealant filling
hose to va lve connection may be faulty.
Re-check the connection.
10. Infla te the tyre to the correct pressure -
see page 180.
As the pressure gauge read ing is
slightly high w hile the c om pressor is on,
switch c om pressor off to gain an
accurate p ressure reading.
If the p rescribed tyre pressure is not
obta ined within 10 m inutes, the tyre is
too badly damaged. S witch off engine
and compressor, remove accessory
plug and unscrew seala nt filling hose
before contac ting a workshop.
11. When the correct ty re pressure has
been reached, switch compressor on/
off switch to position O (off).
12. S witch engine off and unplug the
ac cessory plug from the ac cessory
socket.
13. Disconnect sealant filling hose from
ty re va lv e a nd replace the dust ca p.
Exerc ise caution when rem oving tyre
repair kit com ponents, as they may still
be hot after use.
Wrap sea lant filling hose around
comp ressor unit in its origina l loc ation.
S tow acc essory plug in compressor unit
by wrapp ing the c ord, reconnecting the
ac cessory plug , then pushing in the
bottom p art of the wrapp ed c ord
followed by the top part into the
comp ressor unit.
Peel off the sticker containing the
m aximum p ermitted sp eed that is
affixed to the sealant bottle, and
attach it within the driver' s field of
v iew. For sticker – see page 137, Fig.
S 14066.
