Self-help, vehicle care
Coola nt temperat ure
During operation the sy stem is pressurized.
The temp erature may therefore rise to ov er
100 °C .
Control indicator W illuminates in the
instrument panel when coolant
tem perature is too high. C heck coola nt
lev el im mediately:
z Coolant level low:
Top up coolant. Pay a ttention to the
instruc tions given under " Antifreeze and
corrosion protection" and "C oolant
level". H ave the cause of coolant loss
remedied by a workshop.
z Coolant level O K:
Have the cause of increased coolant
temperature remedied. C onta ct a
work shop.
Brake and c lutch flu id
Brake and clutch fluid level

Warning
Brake/clutch fluid is poisonous and
corrosive. Do not allow it to c ontact eyes,
skin, fabrics or painted surfaces. Direct
contact ma y cause injuries and da mage.
The fluid lev el in the container must be
neither higher than the MAX mark nor
low er than the M IN m ark.
Use of c ertain brake/clutch fluids can lead
to dam age or reduced braking effect.
We therefore recommend that you use
only high perform anc e brak e/clutch fluid
app rov ed.
When topping up, ensure max imum
cleanliness, as contamination of the b ra ke/
clutch fluid can lead to function problems
in the braking system.
After correcting the brak e/clutch fluid lev el,
have the cause of brake/clutch fluid loss
remedied by a workshop.
