The Ca r Pass contains a ll of the vehicle's
28 data and should therefore not be k ept in
the vehicle.

Electronic imm obiliser
The sy stem check s whether the vehicle is
allowed to be sta rted using the key that
has been inserted. If the key is recognised
as "authorised" , the vehicle c an be started.
The checking tak es place via a
transponder in the k ey.
The electronic im mobiliser activates itself
automatically after the key has been
removed from the ignition sw itch.
The code number of the electronic
imm ob iliser is shown in the C ar Pass 3 .
