Playing a C D (six-disc C D player 3)
Inserting one C D
To insert one C D into the six -disc CD player,
proceed a s follows;
Press and relea se the LO AD 1 button.
A message appears a fter a few
second s a sking y ou to insert the disc.
Insert the C D (label side up ) part of the
way into the CD slot i.
The device pulls the CD in
autom atic ally.
The movement of the CD must not be
hindered or aided.
The "CD" sy mbol appears on the
display .
As soon as the first track starts to play ,
the track number app ears on the
display .
If a CD is in the player when the ignition
or the Infotainm ent system is turned
off, it remains in the p la yer. When the
ignition or the Infotainment sy stem is
turned on again, the CD b egins
playing from where it last stopped, if it
was the last selected a udio source.
Inserting multiple C Ds
To insert m ultiple CDs into the six-disc C D
player, proceed as follows;
Press and hold the LOAD 1 button for
app rox . two seconds.
A beep sounds and "Load All Discs"
app ears on the display.
Follow the on-sc reen instructions for
inserting multiple d iscs, inserting the
C Ds lab el side up part of the way into
the CD slot i.
The devic e pulls the C Ds in
automatically.
The movem ent of the CD must not be
hindered or aided.
Press the LOA D 1 button a gain to
cancel loading of more CDs.
The "CD" symb ol appea rs on the
display.
As soon a s the first track starts to play,
the tra ck number appears on the
display.
If a C D is in the p la yer when the ignition
or the Infotainment sy stem is turned
off, it remains in the player. When the
ignition or the Infotainment system is
turned on ag ain, the C D begins
play ing from where it last stopped , if it
was the last selected audio source.
Info tainment system
C D mode
If the Infotainment system is in radio mode
and y ou wish to p la y a CD, p roceed as
follows;
The Infotainment system is in rad io
mode.
A CD is already inserted in the
single-CD or six-disc C D player 3.
Press the CD/AUX a button.
The "C D" sy mbol app ears on the
disp lay.
As soon as the first tra ck starts to play ,
the track num ber ap pears on the
disp lay.
By p ressing the CD/AUX a button
again, the Infotainment sy stem
searches for an auxiliary inp ut device,
such as a porta ble a udio p layer. See
"Using the Auxiliary Input J ack" on
page 96.
To sw itc h bac k to rad io mode while a CD is
play ing , press the BAN D h button.
The C D rema ins in the CD slot, read y
for future listening.
